My
portfolio reflects my focus in portraiture, as I was photographing bakers in
their respective kitchens and also posing them with their work. I enjoyed
creating this portfolio, because I was able to take both actions shots of each
subject and also posed portraits of them. My portfolio consists of two subjects
that are amateur bakers, and two that work professionally at a local bakery.
The two amateur subjects were shot in their respective homes, and the two
professionals were shot in the bakery they work in.

Conceptual Project | Burning Calories
For this project we chose a concept, and tried to depict that without using photoshop; just straight photography. I saw the idea of Burning Calories in a magazine and decided to attempt it myself. I really like how the photos turned out, here are a few of my favorites:
Digital Surrealism
For this photo, I replaced the painting in the center with another copy of the original photo, and did that several times to create this finished product.

Architecture

Exploration of Patterns

Age
For this assignment, we went into the studio and photographed models from three different age ranges.

CHS vs. Monticello Field Hockey
A strong sports action photo is achieved through trying to fill the frame with action, and freezing motion or capturing movement in the form of blur. For my "something different" photo I was trying to capture both teams and the score board, but still have the focus be on the CHS team.
